Ex Gambian president may have not exit Gambia in one peace as it may seem. Yahyah Jammeh who embarked on an exile on Saturday dawn is reported to have emptied the State's coffers close to £9.2m and also making way with luxurious vehicles by cargo plane according to Mai Ahmad Fatty, a special adviser to current President Adama.
"The Gambia is in financial distress. The coffers are virtually empty. That is a state of fact," Mr Fatty said.
"It has been confirmed by technicians in the ministry of finance and the Central Bank of The Gambia.
