Kanye West, Drake, Frank Ocean and co.to boycott 2017 Grammy Awards

Kanye West and Drake may not be at the 2017 Grammy Awards according to new reports.The two rappers are not the only big names to boycott the show. 

TMZ reports that Justin Bieber and Frank Ocean will also be missing in action for this year’s ceremony.

Ocean who has won 2 Grammys did not see the need to submit his works Blonde album which he released last summer for considerations in this years event.

“That institution certainly has nostalgic importance. It just doesn’t seem to be representing very well for people who come from where I come from, and hold down what I hold down”, he is quoted to have said.

Drake has received a total of  8 nominations in this year's Grammy, but the OVO big shot is presently on his "Boy Meets World Tour in Europe and may likely not be in attendance for the Grammys.

Kanye West on the other hand who is a 21 Grammy awards winner,with 8 nominations this year is believed to boycott the event because anytime he gets nominated he ends up loosing to any white artist he is pitched with. 

From Kanye's sources, the status of the Grammy's is presently "out of touch and irrelevant".
