Current reports from the capital of Kenya, Nairobi, indicates that eight Bungoma government officials will be appearing before the law for the outrageous purchase of ten wheelbarrows amounting to $10511.56.
Joseph Matsanzi former County Secretary and Finance Manager Oscar Ojwang were among the arrested officials.
At the amount of Sh109,320 each, ten wheelbarrows were bought last year. This reveals the height of corruption among the officials in the Kenyan government.
Residents from Bungoma took to the streets to protest again this extravaganza spending by the officials.
